Sunset bike ride on the Amador Causeway (Andreas and Camilla are 2nd and 3rd from the left)

Camilla and Andreas, who studied Spanish here at Casco Antiguo Spanish School for 10 days this January, really took advantage of their time here in Panama City. For those thinking of coming to Panama but are not sure of What to do in Panama City we recommend you take a look at their blog to just how they filled their days to the brim with activites and adventure. In addition to studying 4-5 hours of Spanish everyday they also managed to see and do a lot! Among other things they:

  • Went to the Museum of Contemporary Art
  • Hiked in the jungle at the Parque Metropolitano
  • Took a Salsa Class
  • Visited the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal
  • Cheered on two cruise ships as they made their passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean
  • Took a sunset-bike ride on the Causeway
  • Went to Parque Omar (great for relaxing and exercising in the afternoon)
  • Saw 2 concerts at the Panama Jazz festival (Herbie Hancock and salsa legend Rubén Blades)
  • They even stumbled upon a live taping of a childrens TV show

Thanks Camilla and Andreas for writing about your experience Learning Spanish in Panama City at Casco Antiguo Spanish School and your “wonderful teacher Maria Jose, who had an aswer to every one of our off-the-track-grammar questions” on your blog.
