The best pizza in Panama is located right here in Casco Viejo. Saying a restaurant has the “best” of anything is a bit of a risk but, our new favorite pizza place is casco is L’Ostreta located in Casa del Horno.
They opened their doors to the public in late February and once the construction on Avenida B is finished they will open for lunch. They menu is a diverse selection of salads, pastas and pizzas and they have a full bar and extensive wine list. As the name suggested they have a wood fired pizza oven and their “pizzero” turns out amazing crusts with minimalist but perfectly combined toppings. The carmelized onion & gorgonzola is delicious!
