Panama is unique because whales from both the Northern and Southern hemispheres come to Panama to breed and give birth. This makes Panama one of the few places in the world with two whale watching seasons. There are over 30 species of whales and dolphins that can be found in Panama’s waters.

Various tour companies offer wale watching centred tours. If you are in Panama during the migration season be sure to make time for a quick whale watching trip.
