To truly immerse yourself into the culture of Latin America you have to swing your hips to the rhythms in a Salsa Class at least once.

For people in Panama, knowing how to dance Salsa is like knowing how to ride a bicycle to other people: your parents teach you when you are young and once you got the hang of it you won’t forget it for the rest of your life. It does also impress when you go out dancing in one of the several clubs around the city to know the basic steps of Salsa. And the good news is, you can take classes in Panama City virtually for free. The majestic Casino in Multicentro holds Salsa classes on Tuesday and Thursday night starting at 8pm. You will be asked to pay a $ 3 fee, but in return you get a $ 3 voucher that you can use for drinks and food at the casino bar. The class is divided into three groups according to the level, so it doesn’t matter if you are beginner, intermediate or advance, there will be teachers and potential dance partner matching to your level.
