Volunteer to Teach Dance at Orphanages and At-Risk Youth Foundations in Panama

The mission of Movement Exchange is simple: we aim to provide an avenue for dance artists to participate in the global community through their art form, to serve others in a cross-cultural setting, and to promote understanding, awareness, and self-esteem through movement.

What They Do:

Movement Exchange runs dance exchange programs to Panamá by holding open calls and customizing programs for established groups (University, Dance Company, etc).  Participants teach, learn and perform dance through collaboration with at-risk youth and local professionals.  We then partner with the Panamanian foundation, DanzaNOVA to continue the dance training for the youth throughout the year.

They are currently partnering with DanzaNOVA, and  working with the youth at:

• Malambo Orphanage
• Fundación San Felipe
• Hogar de la Infancia
• Aldea SOS, Colón
• Esquela Sara Sotillo
