Project Description

Aprojusan (Asosiacion Pro Juventud de San Felipe) is an organization dedicated to helping the youth of Casco Viejo.  Aprojusan’s mission is create a safe and healthy environment for at risk children. Their after school programs educational and recreation programs allow kids to express their feelings, build self esteem, strengthen family values, and set life goals.  Located in the Santa Familia building directly below Casco Antiguo Spanish School, their space serve as a safe place for kids to complete their homework, receive personal attention and participate in workshops and activities. Many of these activities are centered around art or sports and provide an opportunity for creative and positive self expression.
