Joey Bonura – I think that one of the best ways to get to know Casco Viejo is by visiting it’s bars. I love going out to the bars there at night for a drink because it’s a totally unique experience that I don’t find in the U.S. But I found out day drinking there can be a great time as well! The last time I had a friend visit I decided to research all of the happy hours in Casco so we could do a “bar hopping tour”. We made stops at the various bars and enjoyed a beer at each one in-between seeing the typical tourist sites. The day was really fun and it was a great way to spice up the typical Casco Viejo tour (we also spent half the money that we normally would have on drinks) Here is a map I made of the various happy hours around Casco Viejo so you can have your own happy hour tour:
